The LFV Group and Stockholm-Arlanda Airport

The LFV Group, previously called Luftfartsverket (the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration), is a Swedish State enterprise that is responsible for operating and developing 16 Swedish airports. These include Stockholm-Arlanda Airport, Göteborg-Landvetter Airport and Malmö Airport.

The environment

Improving the environment

Extensive environmental work is continuously under way at the airport. Green approaches, special privileges for ecotaxis, biogas-powered buses, space heating with biofuel and water treatment are some of the areas of this work. In 2006, 97 per cent of waste went towards recycling or energy production.
