Airport coach connects Stockholm-Bromma and Stockholm-Arlanda

[2008-02-04 20:16]

On February 4, Flygbussarna Airport Coaches is starting a coach line connecting Stockholm-Arlanda Airport with Stockholm-Bromma Airport. This route previously ran from Stockholm-Arlanda to Brommaplan in western Stockholm. It is being re-routed from Stockholm-Arlanda to Stockholm-Bromma Airport via Kista Centrum − a major centre of the telecom and IT industry in northern Stockholm.

The most frequent airport coach service will be during the morning rush and in the afternoon, at hours when business travellers need to get to, from or between the airports.

“More and more companies are demanding that business travel should be both environmentally sound and provide good value for money, but there have previously been few good alternatives to cars and taxis from Kista. With this new coach line, we have changed that,” says Kristian Jalakas, business manager at Flygbussarna Airport Coaches.

The new route serves the following locations:
Stockholm-Bromma Airport, Marabou Park, Rissne Centrum, Rissneleden, Ärvingevägen, Kista Centrum, Oddegatan, Stockholm-Arlanda Airport.

Brommaplan is disappearing from the route, except on weekdays when the first trip to Stockholm-Arlanda starts there. The last trip from Stockholm-Arlanda on weekdays also ends up at Brommaplan. The fare for a single journey between Stockholm-Bromma and Kista will be SEK 69 and from Kista to Stockholm-Arlanda SEK 99, which is also the fare for a journey between the two airports.
