“Clean” cars get better parking at Stockholm-Arlanda

Environmentally “clean” cars are now being offered parking spaces with the best locations at Stockholm-Arlanda. These spaces are available only to clean cars.
Offering easily accessible parking as close as possible to the terminal for customers who drive what Stockholm local authorities call “clean” cars is consistent with the airport’s environmental permit conditions, which require LFV Stockholm-Arlanda to reduce emissions from ground transport to and from the airport.
“We support travel in environmentally clean cars, and want to make things easier for those who drive them. We don’t think this will persuade more people buy such cars but in the long run, many small privileges may encourage larger sales of clean cars,” says Niclas Härenstam, Manager Press Relations, LFV Stockholm-Arlanda Airport.
A total of 190 parking spaces are reserved for clean cars at LFV’s parking facilities at Stockholm-Arlanda. LFV, which operates the airport, follows the City of Stockholm’s definition of what constitutes a clean car.
