Jumbo jet will be globally unique hostel

In December the world’s first hostel inside a real jumbo jet will open at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. This aircraft has now been moved to its final destination at the airport entrance. The Jumbo Hostel will become a new Stockholm-Arlanda landmark.
Construction will now begin on the world’s first hostel inside a real jumbo jet, a Boeing 747-200. The aircraft was towed on August 28 from the stand inside the airport where it had been parked since 2002, when it retired from charter flight service. Its final destination, and the construction site for this globally unique hostel, is at the airport entrance.
The Jumbo Hostel will open up to overnight guests in December.
