Now it will be easier to fly Scandinavian Airlines to Italy. Starting on April 16, the number of departures between Stockholm and Milan will increase.
SAS will expand its service to Milan by two departures a week, on Wednesday and Fridays, and will thus provide a total of nine flights a week on the route.
While the existing morning flight serves Linate Airport, which is very close to central Milan, the additional two afternoon flights will serve the larger Malpensa Airport.
“We know that there is great interest in Milan both among our business travellers and private passengers. It is pleasing to be able to listen to our customers and provide Swedes with easier, quicker access to Italy,” says Susanne Dahlberg, Commercial Director of Scandinavian Airlines Sweden.
Every year hundreds of thousands of tourists and business travellers visit Milan, Italy’s fashion and business hub. The city also offers a rich array of cultural attractions, as well as world-class European football.
