Sterling will be starting an air route to Milan, Italy this autumn. Initially there will be two departures a week, which will expand to three in February.

Starting on October 27, Sterling will fly from Stockholm to Milan on Thursdays and Saturdays. The airline has chosen to land at Malpensa, the region’s largest airport.

This autumn easyJet is also starting service to Milan with one daily departure. Scandinavian Airlines flies to Linate Airport, closer to central Milan, six times a week.

“With three airlines on this route, passengers will have great freedom of choice. Good air connections make Stockholm more attractive to foreign tourists, which in turn helps strengthen our regional economy,” says Niclas Härenstam, Manager Press relations at LFV Stockholm-Arlanda Airport.
