As a you know, the requirements of the User Friendly Budget were reviewed in detail at the last Government Users’ Group meeting. Since then our development team has spent some time to evaluate how Primepoint would be able to help our Government customers get the information they need to complete sheet 7 - "Budgeted Personnel Costs.”
The solution involves creating a new allocation group with the appropriate employee classification as allocations. You will then be able to assign a classification to all of your employees, which will enable you to utilize a new report titled “UFB-Budgeted Personnel Costs” to obtain the information necessary.
Once the allocation group and employee classifications are created, if you don’t want to assign a classification to each employee manually, we can accept a spreadsheet containing the employee id and their classification. We would then import that spreadsheet’ data into the payroll system, which will automatically assign each employee to the appropriate classification.
